Tinley Park Fishing Show??

Featured Replies

Any of you locals plan on making a trip on over there? Usually can find a bunch of tackle at good pricing. Always has a decent shore lunch too!

I'll be going for sure

I always start my stock up there.  Plan on pickin up a couple more curados this year from the mik lurch stand.  Ill be there saturday when it opens and sunday wen it closes!

Is this show worth the trip for me? I am 40minutes from Morris and don't want to waste a day for a so-so show. Any good deals?

What are you specifically lookin for?  Last year i picked up a curado and a crucial and i saved $60 on the pair off of the list price at the stand.  If i remember correctly the rod was listed cheaper than bps.  A drive from Morris isnt that bad.  I drive from oak forest to plainfield everyday.  Its held in a high school and from what i read its completely booked.  I think its worth a trip but hell, ive been goin there since i was a kid.  You will find pretty decent deals on tackle.

Got 200E7s for $140 cash at the anglers out stand in one of the small gym.  If you use a credit card, he'll charge you $144.  That price doesnt include tax but i bought myself 2 more!  They are priced at his stand for $148.  Just tell him you can find them online for a 140 and ask him to match it they will.  Same deals on E5s, Mik lurch's booth was pretty dissapointing.
