  1. When is it, havent seen anything for it this year?
  2. J-bones, oak forest here to, welcome
  3. whatever you do dont go into the river or out in the middle, with a little boat, if it's windy at all, the lake will beat ya up.craink baits on the points, and arount the rocks, should work for ya...
  4. I never fished the river, as i dont have a boat.Zero limit, the lake has alot of grass and weeds, still trying to figure that part out, if you go out to the wall by the tracks, i have had alot of good luck using craink baits, and jigs, also have used a jiggy head worm, that seemed to work a little to.you will have to rent a boat, and bring your own trolling moter, that's how i do it.Im still trying to figure this lake out though, the best fish i had out of there was a 4 lb large mouth.Let me know if you ever want to go out there, i would be more than happy to meet up with ya out there...
  5. from the south subs here, always looking for somewhere to go, i usually only go to monee resivor, looking to try somewhere new this summer...

  7. i have a small lake i go to, has alof of grass and weeds, the water depth is about 4 to 6 feet, and it's anywhere from 5 ft to like 20 ft to the shoreline, i know the bass hide in there but im rather new to fishing, and dont know how to get a bait in there, i like the frog idea, and will try that when the lake opens bak up, but anything else to try?
