Good Colors of Spinnerbaits For southeast Wi

Featured Replies

This year, I want to incorporate more spinnerbaits into my arsenal (right now I have most success with plastic worms but am trying to branch out). I'm wondering what brand and colors I should have to keep a good selection for any waters, and also what blade styles.

Currently I own a red and black double willow, a brown and orange willow/colorado, and a blue/white/chartruese willow/colorado.

any help would be appreciated

Welcome aboard!

I have some success with chartreuse and painted Colorado blades.

Otherwise, white Terminator with double silver willow blades is pretty standard.

I don't know what works in your neck of the woods but almost my entire spinnerbait arsenal is made up of chartreuse, white, and chartreuse/white.  For night fishing I use black/red or black/blue with a much larger blade.  I'm not saying it can't happen but I have not yet been outfished with my basic colors by anyone using any of what I consider the "other" colors.
