MI ice conditions?

Featured Replies

I believe by next week it'll be completely soft water if it hasn't happened already. All of the smaller inland lakes have already melted but i'm not 100% sure about st. clair. If you'd like g-man i can go out and check for ya it's only 10 mins from my houes.  :D

Thanks for the intel.  Na not a biggie to check.  If the inland lakes are already deiced that is good enough.  St Clair being big and shallow is probably already clear or mostly anyway.  Thanks for the update.

yup no problem, if you're heading up could you bring some jigs with ya i'd be more than willing to purchase a bunch.  :D:) :)

Most ice on St. Clair is gone.  Still some shore ice out to about 300 feet in protected areas.  Some ice floating down from St. Clair River.

ready for some spring C&R mr falcon?  ;D

As of Wednesday, Lake Huron was frozen still.  A lot of ice was drifting down the St. Clair River towards Lake Lake St. Clair.  I wonder if all that floating ice just bunches up on the north end of Lake St. Clair???
