ive looked around on this site and still cannot find alot of information on Lake Galena, i do have a boat, but what would be good tackle to use on this lake, additionally, any other good lakes, ponds, streams, close by that are good fishing besides nockimixon. thanks guys

Well me my dad and brother went out over the weekend and did pretty well with white rooster tails and spinners however nothing big. Any tips or suggestions for different tackle to use or a different location or strategy? Thanks alot guys

Just an aside.

If I remember correctly, from my high school Latin, Galena or some variation thereof means chicken.  The reason it stuck is because we had a classmate whose name is Gelinas.  He was in the Latin class, and, as kids are wont to do, we knicknamed him galina thief.

Therefore, the rooster tail suggestion seems most appropriate.
