Hey all. Planing a trip to Codorus state park to do some fishing on the lake there. Does anyone know how the bass fishing is there? Any tips or pointers? Was there a few years ago and boated a few. I have heard rumors that the lake isn't doing so well with Bass the past few years.

Any info would be greatly aperciated! 

It's big, clear, deep and weedy.

I fished there about a month and a half ago. I like to consider myself a pretty decent fisherman.

I caught nothing from first light until after noon.

Among 4 people fishing in two different boats, one fish was caught.

Difficult, to say the least.

Speed you can't blame the lake for your skill level

Ah I'm just kiddin, Speed appears to be a decent angler.

Anyway, I was there awhile ago (3 to 4 years ago maybe) and didn't do that well either. I'd like to give it a second chance though because it looks like a promising lake!

I fished there twice this year.  I would say the first time would have been pre-spawn.  Had a pretty good day.  The weeds were there, but not to thetop of the water.

I was there the day Speedbead mentioned.  The weeds were terrible.  Oh, and for some reason he failed to give me props for catching the one fish.
