Matzuo Baits, specifically Spinner Baits.

Featured Replies

Hey guys, i've been working on my bank fishing arsenal over the winter months, with cheap baits that i don't mind losing if i get hung up.  Picked up a few Matzuo Spinner Baits to give a try.  Anybody have any luck with these things.  They look ok, just thought i'd ask around.

IMO, most of their products are rubbish. If there is a bait that they make that is worth a darn ,it would be their spinnerbaits. They work fine and look great.A good cheap bait.I am especially partial to the painted blade models.

thanks, that's exactly what i bought was a few of the painted blade models.  I figure, they were cheap, if i get a few bites on them, that's a bonus.  At least i won't be losing my good baits cause i can't get out to them to get them unhooked.

I bought one and the skirt fell off. The wire was flimsy and bent and I had a hard time getting it to run true after that. I would never buy one again. That said, my buddy caught a real hawg on the exact same one!

Matzuo cranks suck, but I love their spinnerbaits.  I lost a skirt on one, but never had any of the other problems... I got about 8 of them from KMart on clearance, and have used them for two years running.  Love them.

Of all the lures you might purchase, a spinnerbait is the one that you are least likely to lose.

Buy a better lure and fish it for years!

I've had success on one of their shallow cranks, other than that...nada...I've been lured in by their cheap prices...but not anymore!
