Swimbait Question

I recently purchased some of these and fished them for the first time today.  The action is awesome...when it's upright.  Any tips on how to keep it upright?  I was fishing it on a 3/0 offset hook which brought the hook out just in front of the first "hinged" joint.  I fished them with the hook pointing up which seems right to me.  I'd love to be able to keep this thing running right...and it is for about 70-80% of the time.  It's just that other 20-30% that I need to figure out.  It looks as real as anything I've seen when it's running right.  Anyone have any tips?

Try a weighted hook... They kind where the lead is on the curved part of the hook. This will act as a ballast and keep the bottom of the bait the heaviest so it will stay upright. What kind of baits are those?

You can rig them with a regular EWG hook, with a weighted hook, a jighead or with one of these:

The problem with the Javallon and it 's knock offs is that it 's not that easy to have the hook right in the middle of the bait to keep it balanced so it swims straight.

I have some of the Lake Fork ones and I have rigged them on the  Zoom Horny Toad Hooks. I have gotten 3 to 4 fish out of them but I'm sure when the weather heat up it will be less.
