anyone know where i can launch on the warm side? can i get to the warm side from the main lake if i laungh out of a public marina?

I would think that you could launch out of Sturgeon Creek, that is real close to the power/nuke plant.  I would expect the water to be warm around that part of the lake.

You cannot get to the hot side from the cold side by boat. There are three dikes separating them. You can fish some warmer water on the cold side at dike three which is the water outlet to the main lake, near the dam. The only craft I can think of that may be able to cross over is an airboat or float plane.

yup, no public access on the hot side...

I got into the warm side by just meeting people who own land on it and they can give you permission to launch at their private ramp. I havnt been on the hot side though for about 2 years now.

The guys are correct...you need to launch from a private owner's property to fish the warm side.
