Pond Bassers

Featured Replies

- 7.5 inch and 10 inch Motor Oil and Tequila colored Cuplrit ribbon tail worms.

- 5 inch Senko in Green/Pumpkin with Red or Gold flakes.

- My new fav, Green/Pumpkin Zoom Baby Brush Hog.

Worms I usually fish rigged weightless on a 5/O Mustad Ultra Point Impact Hook typically or 1/16oz bullet screw weight on a 5/0 lazer sharp hook.

Storm 3 inch Wild Eye Swim Shads in the shad color.

I found in our lakes that the bass have been hitting 4 storm baits on the deeper holes, with many of the fish brought in weighing 5 pounds~ ;) The smaller fish near the banks are hitting small spinner baits and watermelon color flukes. Shiners will also produce many fish - my son caught several 4-5 lb bass in our local pond last week.

I throw about everything but seem to have the best luck with spinners, shallow cranks and plastic worms.
