Plastic Worms

Featured Replies

I have been having a major problem finding 4inch purple straight tail worms for split shotting. I used to use the western weenie worm and the berkley power worm but cannot find this exact worm from either company. Any ideas where I can locate them or an exact substitute?

thx for your help.

Roboworm has a bunch of different purples.  Magic Worms too.

yea  i use the roboworm for all my dropshotting  i have never tried purple but i do very good on junebug which is similar to purple

my partner and i caught three on purple drop shot worms

it was the Roboworm Sculpin, 4" in MMIII color.

the other two were caught on a straight tail sassy shad(?) color.

EDIT: the straight tail color that my partner caught fish on is called prism shad, not sassy shad

If you are fishing clear water then purple worms may not be so great KVD.Junebug,Grape,Black Grape,or any variations of are the go to in stained to heavily stained water and are the nationwide top selling color.

That makes sense too me.  Minnesota doesn't have alot of waters that are stained or muddy.  thanx for the clarification.
