Greentop is a little north of Richmond, that's a little more than an hour away :P (unfortunately)

I think your best bet is Dick's at Fair Lakes. I think they are pretty much the best store in the NoVA area. You could order some online though.

BPS should be within an hour of you, I'm in alexandria and it only takes about 40-45 to get there.

The place you're thinkin of in king george is probably gander mountain?

Gander Mountain is good, we hit that up on the way to lake Gaston sometimes. It's a clean place, with great stuff. Green tops is right around the corner, I saw it when we took a wrong turn. Didn't go in, but wish I did. Maybe we'll hit it up steve.

Greentop is amazing, get in there anytime you can.

GREENTOP IS AWESOME!!!  Friendly, knowledgeable fishermen/hunters actually work there so they really know their stuff.  Amazing selection and willing to order anything they don't have.  Also, support local business.

I was riding with a cop at the time but I usually would sleep on the trips I guess he was plain motoring. :-?

Gander Mountain is pretty close to Green Top but if I remember Green Top has cooler stuff ;)

My friend in Ashland said that the Gander Mtn down there isn't doing too well. He said that they still can't really compete with Greentop. I hope Greentop is also able to give BPS a run for their money, they have great staff and obscure items.

Greentop is geared more for the seriuos angler. BPS and Gander Mountian have to much junk/bling that has zero appeal to me.  I don't need "real tree slippers and a fleece bath robe" to buy tackle ;D.
