Looking to plan spring fishing trip NC, TN, KY, or VA?

Featured Replies

Hey Guys,

cool forum here... I'm brand new.

I'm looking for advice for a spring bass fishing trip (pre-spawn) to somewhere south of OHIO - within 6-8hrs of Southern OHIO.  Looking for numbers and opportunity for nice size fish, too (4-7lbs).

Lakes in NC, Tenn, KY, VA should be within driving distance.

Thanks a bunch.

Well, you could come down for the Bassresource trip to Kentucky lake its in the spring.  Or you could try your luck at Dale Hollow for some big smallies.  Both lakes are on the TN/KY border.

I would definetly think about Kentucky Lake it has been doing very well in the last couple of years and is expected to get better. So I would agree on Kentucky Lake. My home lake!!!!!!!!!!
