What gets you going in the morning?

Featured Replies

I've been away from fishing the last 6 months and I remember loading up with or without my daughter when she didn't want to go out fishing with me, I would play Brad Paisley because he was always talking about fishing.  Brad Paisley songs reminds me not only of what I miss back home but everything as a whole.  For you guys that have served, you know what I mean.  I hope to wet my line next week when I'm home for a couple of weeks.  NA guys keep up the stories because it really keeps me in touch back home.

Besides that...Do you have a certain music that gets you going?

No music.

I like it quiet.

A beautiful sunrise gets me going.

There is nothing like a beautiful sunrise on the water to make you love fishing and nature.

A beautiful, quiet sunrise.  :)

I LOVE those morning when I wake up and hear the robins chirping outside my window just before daylight.  I know a good day is coming when this happens.

The alarm clock at 3:45 am

A little bit of Pearl Jam on my way to the lake and maybe some Zepplin or Little Wayne as well.

hooking up with a fish. :D 'till then i'm half asleep.

I also like to have a Mountain Dew in the car on the way or when I start to fish. I also like that early morning chill that you feel. Not like the 15 degree mornings we have now but in the Spring, Summer, and Fall you get that cool air that sends a chill up your spine and through your body when you load the rods into the car...that usually gets me ready to fish, especially knowing it is going to get warmer.
