My dad and I are passin through NC and are gonna try a few casts at Lake Norman.  Any tips?  What is in there?

The stripers in lake norman are fun to fish for. As far as largemouth I would look in the coves in the late afternoon and fish the flats and creek channels in the morning. Look for any cover that crappie may hang around and for any suspending bait fish. Bass will not be far away. As far as bait, you cant go wrong with any crankbait, but soft swimbaits are very productive for me right now. good luck.
