George if you read this, are the bass going into their prespawn feeding pattern yet, tearing up the shad along the canal and ditches in the farm pond area?

As of yesterday they are just starting to show in the south end. The artificial bite has been tough if you are not with them every day. However, the shiner bite is hot: last trip out went through 10 dozen in 6 hours with 4 guys.
