Anyone ever fish back on that canal on Orange Dr, in Davie?

There's a good amount of space where you could just pull over and fish right from the bank. I was just wondering if it was any good. I know there was a Florida canal sign but I couldn't see it too clearly.

You can fish that canal west from the spillway at 441 fro a long way.  LMB, peacocks, tarpon and snook.

Ditto on the previous post-that canal runs out to Holiday Park where it runs into the pump system-then out past that to the Miami Canal-it is referred to as the Center Canal out there. It is officially the C-11-many places are an excellent multi-species fishery

When the water is moving that canal is supposedly ridiculously good for snook and tarpon.

Think I might drive over there and fish along the bank sometime this week.
