Lake Seminole?????

Featured Replies

Lake Seminole has everything, I'm not sure if the shad are the main forage but they are in there. When I went a month or so ago, they seemed to want white crankbaits if that helps.

That helps alot! thanks! I didnt know if it was like alot of lakes in FL and they focused mainly on golden shiners and stuff.

acually in most florida lakes bluegill and shad are the main forage, shiner are just the bait of choice to catch big fish. in seminole its either shad or bluegill.

I got a few there last year and a couple spit out big blue gills in the live wells. Blue gill patterns and imitations may be a good starting point.
