Does anyone here have a recent(within a week) temperature reading of any central Fl lakes? I am trying to compare with someone because i think my sonar transducer is faulty. I just want an idea to see if mine is way off or close. THANKS

On Thursday of last week it was 71 in Sebastian area lakes.

Lake Pierce     (Friday, Apr 2)   78 deg

Rosalie Lake   (Sunday Apr 4)   81 deg

Dink, get one of these or a similar thermometer to verify what your sensor is reading:

Those are both water temps.

There was quite a rapid climb, but I'm sure your unit and mine are both correct (Lowrance X135)

I might add, that's the same unit that registered 59 degrees several weeks ago.

I only remember because I fell into Lake Kissimmee that day

Yeah about 2-3 weeks ago it was 58 on my 581i

Each lake is different.  Heck different sides of the same lake can be different. 

My favorite lake just warmed from 59 a month ago to 75 last weekend.
