Good Guide for Lower Pickwick

Featured Replies

Just starting back into bass fishing and was want to go out with a Guide on the lower end of Pickwick . Wanting to learn some new areas and techniques. Anybody have any suggestions on who is the best around, Brown or green fish doesnt matter

If you are talking about Pickwick at Savannah Tn. Give Rodger Stegall a call. He has been guiding for almost 30 years. I fished with him last October and he is a good one.

Just get yer pole and go fishin'. You will mess up, but what you learn will last longer. Besides, the price of a guide will pay for a couple of nice rods and reels.

I agree. It has taken us a couple years to find "spots" but we finally have a few. Plus experimenting with baits and researching online has really payed off. Learning is part of the fun and the frustration.
