I think im going to hit the reservoir on friday.  havent been there in a while.  Any tips where to go? im dropping in at the fountainhead at the boat launch. in a canoe with trolling motor, so distance cant be a million miles. should i hit all the coves or stay out and hit the deeper stuff.....

Fish the points with deep crank baits and heavy jigs and worms, let me know what happens!

Any luck?? I went tonight and didnt catch anything, only had about 3 hours to fish but no nothing around the bull run marina area...

I just dont get the place lol... I can go to the potomac and catch a slew but here nothing... Must just be lack of knowledge at the place. That and not being Tidal at all............Wind must be your friend there.

Work has unfortunately got in the way. so i took today off instead. went to beaverdam reservoir in ashburn, caught a monster that was almost as big as the lure i was casting >

those lil ones are so cute! i need a fishtank sometimes myself to put them in!
