Featured Replies

i usually got to the hotside in february but this year we are going the second weekend in march. will the spawn be in full swing or will it be like late late feb where you might see a few but still a prespawn pattern?  cant wait to visit again this makes our third year.  great people there and an awesome fishery.  if i just could figure out where the biggins live!

Hot Side fishing has been slow this winter.

B.A.S.S. Region 3 is having a tournament on the Hot Side this weekend so if I find out how they guys did I will let you know.

As for the spawn, I have no idea. Buy that time we are fishing the cold side and other lakes seeking the big ladies.

And for where are the big ladies on the Hot Side? You and a bunch of other guys are wondering the same thing.

For fun, if you are not catching anything on the Hot Side, put a fake M-60 machine gun on the bow of the bass boat and tool around the power plant.  ;D   ;D   :D

Am i hearing this straight?? Are you complaining about not breaking the 12 pound mark for one bass or a daily limit?  Sounds to me like one bass. So, as tradition in the Southeast section of this website, you threw out the number 12 so now you have to provide a picture... ::)

Shimmy, he means a total of 12 pounds.

If there is a 12-pounder in One Fish Anna I would love to know about it.  :)

Sam,

Maybe a 12lb striper.  ;D

I remember a while back reading this which triggered my curiosity.

My frinds parents live on the warm side. I know he's got a 12lb + hanging on the wall that he caught on the warm side.  They are there, just got to find them. He caught his in about 25 feet of water in one of the undeveloped coves, on a 12 inch bublegum plastic worm.

The Hot Side fun and fellowship tournaments so far thsi year were all either cancelled or rescheduled due tothe cold weather so the guys went out Super Bowl Sunday just to get out and do some fishing.

I will call one of the guys and find out how they did and let you know.

Hopefully by March the air temperatures will be higher and the bass will be getting ready to go to spawn.  :)

My wife today, said that she can't wait for me to start fishing because she said that I look like a dog that needs to go out and pee.
