Anyone have a fishing report?  Mississippi is messing up my honey hole for a while and until shad are all gone, can't make it to the pickwick/tn river!  Looks like we will try out glen springs if they are biting there! Anyone?

I'm headed down to Pickwick Wednesday. I will post

a report on Thursday. I heard they were killin' 'em in

Yellow Creek last weekend. Of course, we will start

on the river below the dam!

Any word on Glen springs???

Haven't fished it yet this year but SB'a and Traps along the grass edge usually work well early there.

spinnerbaits, traps and top-water from what I hear..... but that's in the years past

29.25 won the Team Trails tourney. 20 lbs just broke the top ten.

General questions: Depth, structure/ cover and

tackle? Any clues are appreciated. We're just

fishing for fun, but we would still like to get on

'em! If there's a big bite on the lake, we'll forgo

the river.

Thanks!

This is just an attempt to try to catch up with you, Kent! Has nothing to do with this post. When you get back, check your PM> thanks so much!!

I havent been to glenn springs in a little over a week, but 2 1/2 weeks ago, the water temp was 42 and we caught em in 16-20 ft of water on jigs with rage craws for trailer. Last week, the water was 52 and I caught 17 in 4 hours up shallow last Monday when it was very windy. All were quality fish 17-19 inches and 3-4 lbs. Looked like footballs. The front came through over night and the temps dropped 30 degrees and we went the next day and couldn't find em shallow and ended up catching 12 on jigs again. Haven't been since last tuesday.
