any one have any suggestions for fishing this lake? lures, locations, colors, what type natural food do bass find on this lake? i am new to bass fishing any help would be greatly appreciated. plan to go in a couple of weeks from now around April 2nd & 3rd

I live close to Wylie, but usually don't fish it other than early season (too many crazy powerboaters). Docks, points, and timber have worked for me. Craws are a main forage as well as shad. I usually fish about 30 mins south where it's not nearly as developed, and there is a lot more natural shoreline with wood laydowns to fish. Good luck

your best bet is under docks and back in coves in my time fishing here lizards wacky rigs and a Texas rigged have worked for late morning and all afternoon. A frog does really well in the early morning. Also if you are kinda on the main channel casting under the docs then throw out a all white jerk bait i have caught a lot on that and a couple of nice 3-4 pounders on that.
