Briery Creek Lake...

Featured Replies

What a nightmare...one of my rods fell out of my boat somehow on 460, spent a long time looking but never found it...worst day. Anyway if anyone finds a lefty Lews LFS  on a hellbent rod in a red sleeve, I would really appreciate it...

Hi all, I would like to thank all of you for your informative posts throughout this thread.  I am new to the site and have just started getting back into bass fishing, and hoping to land a trophy bass or 2 by this time next year.  Naturally, Briery is probably my best opportunity to catch a lunker, so I have fished it the last two weekends with a little bit of luck and landed a couple 2-4 pounders each day. Mostly fished the mid-lake treeline, and also caught a few in about 10 foot of water. I was wondering if any of you had any advice on what depths I should be targeting this time of year for the big girls?  Any advice would be helpful, as this lake is a bit intimidating to a former farm pond fisherman with its endless cover.  Thanks, and hoping to see some of you on the water soon!
