Anyone Fish ...Eastmen Lake /or Hensley Lake

Featured Replies

I grew up around these 2 Lake's & caught some monster bass out of both.

Haven't been back in my home town now in 8 years, to fish either 1 of these Hawg Bass Produsing Lakes.

Just wanted to know, If they were still kick'n out Monster Bass?

I fish both on a regular basis, and both are really low right now. Hensley is pretty much ignored by most anglers this time of year due to the water level. Eastman is really low too, but still producing, I caught my PB from Eastman a few weeks ago (16in, still learning :P). Both are super murky and present dangers in that you can go from 20ft deep to 1 1/2 ft in a heartbeat. Not to mention the rocks and floating trees that appear out of nowhere and disappear after a short time. They stock both Hensley & Eastman with trout, but those are mainly targeted by shore fishermen.
