I have been watching the craze over these types of swimbaits but thought I would wait. Until they were at a local store and I have to say I really liked the look and feel of them(hollow belly). It has been a long time since I saw something come from Berkley that I thought would just slay them. On my package it said instructions inside but I found none. I get how to use the weighted hook but what about the treble? Can they be used on a jighead? I think I might go back and get more.

idk about the treble either? but they will work on a jighead, just do the same thing you would with a grub.  What are they called?  I might have to go out and get some more if berkley makes em now

Berkleys version is called the hollow belly(?) It looks allot like the basstrix. So far it only in about 6 colors but 13 total are in the works. Apparently Ike uses them t rig style with a screw in weight.

The package is folded in half, and the directions are on the inside.  To use the treble hook, thread the line through the nose using the tube, thread the weight on, then tie the hook on.

The directions are on the backside of the cardboard backing.  Ok, well, not printed on it, but 'stuck' there, so you might have missed it.

They finally got them at our local Academy.  Personally I just can't justify that they are 3x better than the Bass Magic's.  The Berkley were like $9+ for 3 vs $7 for 5 pack of Bass Magic.

In alot of ways... that's actually an advantage... A good thing.   If you know what I mean.

I like the action just make sure you rig them perfectly, so they run true. And I think berkley has come out with a few other baits the last couple years that slay bass, my favorite= Beast.
