Moving near Corona...any people fish around Riverside?

Featured Replies

I have fished my whole life in the SF bay area and own a 25' Farallon.  After fishing hardcore for ocean species, I have moved towards bass for a number of reasons.  In the last six months i have started getting serious about Bass fishing and will be putting my entire fishing passion into bass fishing when i move to Corona in a couple months.  If there is anyone from Riverside that knows the area, any information would be greatly appreciated.  It is going to be a major change in living environment and would be cool to meet some bassers in the area.

I don't live in Riverside, but I have fished most lakes in your area. You have Diamond Valley,Skinner,Perris, and Henshaw all within a short distance from you. You're also pretty close to all the San Diego Lakes if you don't mind driving. There's some good fishing on those lakes, and finesse fishing is usually the way to go.Welcome to SoCal!

Thanks for the reply.  I have been researching all the lakes already.  If there weren't any lakes around I am not sure i could make it! lol  ;D

That was the same thing i said when i moved here from alabama. i live in San Jacinto in riverside county.  I have fished Skinner, DVL, Lake Hemet. I mostly fish tournaments down in San Diego or LA County.  Fishing around here is pretty good.  It has kept me from repacking the uhaul and going back to bama.
