so i fish a small lake in the town that i live in its called rocky mountian arsnail i have been catching a lot of bass but they are a pound or under so i was wondering what some good baits for catching the big females that are full of eggs what can i catch them on.

You might try some smaller live bait when there nesting and getting ready to lay eggs  they will guard there area and almost strike anything that looks like a threat i have pulled some bass from 5-7 pounds out that way you just have to check for your area when they are breeding. good luck

I would go with bigger plastic worms, say 6" - 8", and also lizards. Buzzbaits are good big bass baits as well.

big spinnerbaits and jigs always work

upsize your baits...throw a jig with a big trailer or a swimbait....

You will get a lot less bites but they will be more quality fish

Jigs, big worms/senkos and anything else bulky that you would normally fish SLOWLY.
