Anyone want to go bass fishing in Western WA

Featured Replies

Hey everyone:)  I was just wondering if anyone wanted to get together and go bass fishing in Western Washington.  I have a boat, but I am a little unfamiliar with the lakes around here.  I have been to American and Tapps Lake and have had a little bit of success but was looking into branching out a little more.

So if you are in need of a fishing partner, just shoot me a message and I would be glad to go sometime.

I used to live in Western Washington. If you have a good sized boat, Lake Washington near Seattle is great for smallies. Also, the middle and lower Yakima river are GREAT for smallies as well.

Cool:)  Thanks for the info and just let me know Glenn, would love to have you out on the boat sometime.  I went out to Lake Tapps this weekend and got skunked.  The water is still very cold and I think I was fishing too fast.

Is anyone going to the Deep Water Smallmouth fishing seminar on Thursday at Auburn Sports and Marine?  I think I am going to give it a shot, especially since I think that is my biggest weakness when it comes to fishing (deep water fishing that is).

I think you will really benefit from the seminar at ASM.  Mike W is a great angler plus your'll have the opportunity to meet other local anglers.  There are a number of good clubs in the area too you may want to check out.

we are looking to hit up tapps this year.  hopefully we can catch you on the lake.

other than that, where else do you fish, or are looking to fish?
