Are they any good? I'll be going through Cabelas to get a float tube/inflatable boat (not sure which yet) and I see these hard bait kits for like $15 for 6 baits. I like the Gravedigger set

Do you need a bait that dives 12 ft. ?

Their quality leaves a lot to be desired. If you buy them , I would suggest changing the hooks and the split rings.

I think you are much better off buying specific lures recommended by

people you know or trust. Some of us have huge collections of lures

we never use! Start out with a few "sure things":

Hard Baits

Rat-L-Trap

Original Floating Rapala

Norman Fat Boy

Terminator spinnerbait

Zara Spook and/or Puppy

Chug Bug

Soft Plastics

GYCB Senko

GYCB Fat Ika

This is as much as you really "need" to get started.

What RW Said, with one exception. The only haouse brand I ever used that worked as good as a Rapala, is Cabelas Glass Shads, no difference.
