those "as seen on TV" products

I swear advertiser make simple things so darn complicated in those commericials.  For example, that pasta cooker.  So hilarious how they show it in black and white and then all of the sudden, color when they show the pasta cooker.

They make cooking pasta so hard with all the spills and breaking.  I mean, who makes spaghetti while drunk.

My dad purchased the steam cleaner.  Piece of garbage.

What have you guys purchased off TV and been disappointed?  Has anyone ordered those lifetime flashlights that you shake?  How is it?

i bought one of those flashlights at brookstone (i think) they are pretty good to keep in the car and in the hunting pack. they sell them at wal-mart and probably anywhere for that matter. anywho, they are neat little gadgets.

Crap off of TV are most always just that, crap.  It is all junk IMO.  My mom was literaly addicted to buying junk off of QVC and it was all garbage.  She bought these solar lamps, that you put in the ground along your driveway or sidewalk.  They lasted around 2 months and then started screwing up due to water getting into the solar panels.  We have some around our back yard too, and when we turn the porch light on, maybe 4 of the 6 turn off, and the other 2 blink on and off.   :o

Ya gotta love Ron Popeil "Set it and Forrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrget it"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I mean, who makes spaghetti while drunk.

Um,...well,.....me? But only if it's too late at night to grab some coney island weiners :)

I boght those round press it on lights for my closets Then when I got them the current girlfriend asked me "If your closets are so small cant you just see inside when you open the door?" I sold them later that year at a tag sale She just left ;D

Does anyone else just want to choke the bearded guy who does the orange clean commercials?  My word, does he have to YELL all the time?

I did purchase an "Utrasound Pest Device" one time off of HSN.  Believe it or not, the thing worked pretty good for about 4 years.  Everything else I've bought off of TV has been junk.  Even if it is something I want, I'll wait about six months for it to come out at WM for half the price.  If you're really patient, you can wait a year and get it really cheap.  At least then, you don't feel so bad if it's junk.

Hey Fisher of Men I think the Oxyclean guy bought some crack from the guy who sells the little ads to all those papers to make all that money to buy some more crack
