I don't have time to find the report but National Geographic went down there and dug the thing up and did some studies on it and put togeather a report on it. Maybe I'll try to find it sometime tonight.

Sorry guys should have made it more clear. This is not the old Hogzilla from last year. This beast was just killed on Jan 4th. Ill change the title so its not mistaken for the old one.

Guys - this is a different hog than the one shot a few years ago in South GA. That one was shot on the farm of the guys who breed and sell the monster bream and supposedly had been eating the fish feed to get so big.

This hog was shot in a neighborhood closer to Atlanta this week. They had it on the local news the other day. I will venture to say that just like the original HogZilla, this one won't measure up to the claimed 1100 pounds and 9 feet long.

The guys at Ft. Stewart were telling us the stories of the big pigs down there during our hunt two years ago. Biggest one we saw went around 300 and that looked HUGE. I cant imagine one that weighs 1100.

Those things are nasty. A friend shot one with a bow when we were down there and as the thing was lying there dying, it was grunting at us and trying to get up and charge. Tough little buggers...

For a reference, I highly recommend Ft. Stewart as a hunting destination. $40 for a year hunting pass on the base and $25 for a 7 day Georgia license. Five days of hunting, lodging in Hinesville, gas on the way down and more than enough food to eat - under $300 for the whole trip.

Awesome!!!!

I watched that last week ,Chris Griffin's hogzilla actually was smaller in weight and length but still it was huge!!!!

I guess we ll have  2 wait for the national geographic 2 investigate the new hogzilla  :)

At 50 and getting old and ugly the description of Hogzilla sounds like some of my most recent dates I have taken out. :P
