UFC 66....Liddell vs Ortiz II

Featured Replies

RW...UFC is bigger than boxing ever was, even in Ali's day...according to stats. Every pay per view UFC event outsells the last. Tickets  for the Liddell Couture fight were scalping for over $10K. I grew up a TRUE boxing fan and even boxed myself for several years...then I got tired of seeing 12 round boring fights with lopsided decisions at the end. Than UFC came...I use to rent every UFC vhs tape from blockbuster more than 10 years ago. This sport is awesome, and thanks to The Ultimate Fighter tv show its popularity has soared in the last couple years. One word though if you decide to check it out...not for the weak at heart. And Pride is even more gruesome.

;D RW, They aren't talking about wrastling!  ;)

Correct me if I'm wrong, but did Mirko Filipovic (Cro-Cop) get knocked out by Kevin Randleman or did he not? I believe Chuck Liddell has knocked out Kevin Randleman. Advantage Liddell.  ;) Just kidding. I know it's not as simple as that. I just had to take a jab at the Pride-Huggers.  ;D

Cro-Cop is a great fighter. No doubt about it. But no one is invincible in the world of Mixed Martial Arts. NO ONE.

Does anyone know the reach for both Chuck Liddell and Mirko Filipovic?

Yes he did...but than they fought again and CroCop chocked Randleman out early in the first round...like you said anything can happe in mma.

On SPIKE TV last night they interveiwed Liddel and Coture. Sounds like Liddel wants a rematch with Rampage. Which I'm sure he will get. Can't wait to see that.

Randy Coture(spelling) will be coming out of retirment to fight Tim Sylvia. This should be a good fight. I hope Randy crushes him.
