Dude I got a Dell

Featured Replies

Sorry I had to say it. My wife and I just pulled the trigger on a new Dell Desktop that just arrived last night and am in a happy bliss. Came with Vista and so far I'm impressed. Anybody else out there use Vista?

Our Gateway is probably 7 years old and we are looking right down the barrel of a 12 gauge on getting a new desktop :'(.

I like to get opinions before I buy something and computer people are worse even fishermen about believing if you don't follow their advice you're gonna die and go where angels fear to tread ...

i've heard a lot of negative things about vista crashing and not being compatible with older programs.  But it's just a matter of time before they work the bugs out!

Yeah, I heard the same things. Only had it 1 day but so far so good. I'm keeping my fingers crossed. I haven't check out the specs yet but heard it takes up a lot of space so I upgraded to 2 megs of RAM. So far silky smooth.  :)

Hey Congrats I just got one three months ago it is pretty incredible and i am very happy with it!!!!!!!!

Awesome! It's been like Christmas for me the last 24 hrs. The laptop we had took about 25 mins to boot up and could only handle about 1 program at a time so having a new computer is like stepping in to a new world. I'm not computer savy by any means so hopefully I won't screw this one up too bad.

I love Dell.  I have a 30 inch flatscreen for my home computer.  Love it!
