I was just surfing around and went to this site from another and saw this. Its what they are putting in your kids heads. I drink a gallon a week myself so I guess that makes me a " MILK SUCKER ",lol.

 Just got in from grocery shopping and bought some milk, it's at least DOUBLED in price ($4 something a gallon ). At these prices I might not be sucking as much milk :'(...

Love my chocolate milk.

Give me a break!  I've drank milk all of my life and will continue to drink it.  I attribute drinking milk to helping heal a clean break (both bones) in my ankle in three weeks (back in HS).   These people are full of the poop that comes out of the dairy cows.  As for the price of milk. . . yes, that really concerns me.  I'm afraid that inflation is really about to set in for lots of things.  

Inflation isn't really to blame.  There is the cost of transportation (oil & gas) and the cost of production.  The latter is increasing a great deal due to increased demand for corn (ethanol production).

I don't know about this one.  I live and work around several cow farmers.  They are operating in the black instead of the red now.  But that does not make me happy about paying $3.50 to $4.00 a gallon at Wal-Mart for milk.

As far as the people at PETA,  

It's a shame.  They are in an organization that has the potential to do so much good.  Looks like they have gone way over to the fanatical side.

The price of feed corn, as stated already is soaring because for the demand by the ethonal distilleries and the price of fuel to trasport the milk has gone up 48% in just 23 months!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Not to mention they gotta pay the guys that working their butt off putting milk in store. I have lot of respect for vendors. I've worked with bread man before way they work they deserve more money.

Milk guys same way. Doing all that work can put a toll on you and sometimes the money isn't enough because america is bunch lazy people complaining about prices.

I still buy premium brand milk at 5.00 a gallon. It last me a week then I buy another one.

SOme old woman bought 3 half gallon milk because it cheaper then a gallon according to her, and if you add up those 3 it cost more then a gallon of milk. It amazing how people are thinking these days.

I've been paying $3.50-4.00 a gallon for as long as I can remember.
