Wow, that map doesn't show Cancun, but that projection looks like a direct hit.  My prayers are with everyones family that are in the projected path.

I hope it turns a little north. We need a powerful hurricane to bring some moisture to the Mid South.

Seriously.  We haven't had rain in forever.  Heck, I'd go for 95 degree temps instead of 105.

Much too late this year to do anything to the lake levels.  Douglas and Cherokee are already moving to winter pool, dropping daily.

You are wright RW we need the rain. I am in the irrigation business in eastern NC

and the drought has stopped use from working. The towns and counties have put

water restrictions in place. We can't work on systems or do a install because the

cities won't give us a permit. I told them if they didn't use the water it was going to flow on by to the ocean. Made sense to me.
