Years and years ago I used to work for a rental car company that delivered rental cars on dollies towed by Dodge Dakotas with 3.9L engines.  They routinely when 7,000-10,000 miles between oil changes.  Half the miles put on them were towing other cars.  We sold them at 75-100,000 miles.  They ran and ran and ran.  I don't remember ever having mechanical trouble with one.

Yep totally agree :) and they are great trucks-and can scoot too ;)

Nothen worse than showen someone what you just got and proud of it when all they want to do is rain on your parade :(

I still wonder what the new prices are doing to the used prices-in 2003 a new Ford truck basic was around here about $18,000/16,000 now you can get a 2007 basic for $12,000/10,000 ::)

Man its gotta have some kind of impact :-?

here is a pic of it, not very good pic, but a pic...not only did i get a good deal...they sold it to me before they ran it through their inspection for trade ins...so i got 4 new tires, new pads and rotors all around, new battery and wipers, not extra cost!!

It's a beauty fer sure.

I'll be shopping real soon.

My truck was officially totalled by Allstate.  the verbal $$ amounts they are talking sound fair, but I'll wait for the check before any next moves.

Just another reminder out there. Guys n Gals  - Please be careful out there.

Congrats man!! You picked up a nice truck.  I just got myself a truck too a couple months ago.  07 Isuzu i290 AKA Chevy Colorado.  Isuzu came with the better warranty!  ;)   It's the first automobile I've ever bought myself that I really enjoy and that is nice.
