wow, that was a great fight!!

Kelly Pavlick the long lean slugger from the heart of the rust belt, Youngstown Ohio

knocked out Jermain Taylor in a great middleweight bout.

Nothing like a great boxing match.

That was a FANTASTIC fight! He came back fromt that 2nd round beating and kicked butt. One of the best fights I have seen in years.

Yep great fight. I almost went to bed, glad I didnt

Just watched the fight this morning.  Wow, what a great fight!  I love watching the smaller guys rather than the heavy-weights for the action and the strategy.  A better fight than the Hopkins-Wright matches lately...

Got to see it last night. Great fight. Taylor has had a couple of pretty lame fights lately, but for this fight, the Taylor that beat Bernard Hopkins showed up. He looked like a champion until Pavlik turned out his lights. Gotta give the man from Youngstown a lot of credit. Not many men would have gotten up from Round 2 like he did. Gotta give a lot a credit to Taylor also. He showed the class a champion should have. In the after fight interview, Taylor offered no excuses. He did not complain about the stopage. He just said he got beat, and that he thought he was loosing the fight. I didn't think he was behind, and neither did the judges. Taylor was ahead on the scorecards when the 7th round started. I can't wait to see the rematch.

What a great time to be  fight fan. Look at what's coming up.

Mayweather vs Hatton

Calzaghe vs Kessler

Barrera vs Paquiao 2

Cotto vs Mosley

They say styles make fights. Well, take a look at some of those match-ups. Wow!

Cheers,

The slo-mo shots of the faces getting smashed like a sponge was the best ever.   Know way that kid gets up in the second round with over a minute and half left in the round and survives.

One of the best fights in along time.

Did all of you guys who actually watched the fight believe he was behind on all the score cards by 3-4 rounds.

I thought worst case, he was even with Taylor, and thats with a two point round in the second.

No way he was behind that much.  However the old saying goes that you have to convincingly beat the champion.  At that point the only chance kelly had of winning was by a knockout.

I had it 3 rounds to 3, with Taylor ahead by one point due to the second round knock down.

Yep.

Nothing like a stone cold knockout to settle all scoring disputes.

I couldn't believe those uppercuts.

Like..............where were they before?

I figured he didn't have one, but his trainer must have said.....remember the uppercut we practiced????

THROW IT ALREADY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dy-no-mite!!!
