    Fundamentally, but perhaps not technically. A lot of the legality issues are centered around where the actual servers are located...ie outside the US=US law doesn't apply sometimes.

    All joking aside, there is no difference between bootlegging a movie and shoplifting in a store. They are both stealing, that doesn't change just because you can't get caught..
