Highlighting some good

Featured Replies

I just watched, on the news, a Dr. from Narragansett RI was at one of the Connecticut casinos and he lost his wallet with $8k cash in it.

A waiter found it.

Although he humanly contemplated it, he put himself in the Dr.s shoes and returned it.

The Dr. , blown away by the man's integrity, told him to keep the wallet,....cash and all.

;)

thats cool, i remember once...i must have been 7-8 years old...i found a ten dollar bill in my neighbors driveway by his car...i went to his door and gave it back to him...he gave me four quarters for my good deed....i bought baseball cards with it ;D  it feels good to do the right thing

I always thought that if it were me losing the money I would hope someone would try to return it to me if possable.  I wouldn't feel right spending money that I didn't earn and knowing who's it was the whole time.  Honesty does pay in the long run.

I think if you dont do the right thing then it will bite you . I had a friend tht was out on a drilling rig one night and found a wallet beside a trash trailer and opened it and found $1500 in it he said it didnt have a license in but I think it did well he kept it and never said anything and spent the money well a few months later he was looking at a house and went and put a deposite down on the house and it was

$1500 and the women disappeared and he never got the deposite back. So I think you get what you diserve.

What a bargain for him!!  His $1.00 lesson taught you a lifetime of honesty.  Great to hear stuff like this!

Is he still alive?  If so, it would make his day to go back and share this with him.

God bless,

Fisher

Live by the Golden Rule.  "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you."  It will always pay off.  It's a different version of "What goes around, comes around,"  but he long-term result is the same.
