Ok I bought a Hummingbird 571 adn I want to mount it on the front of the boat and was wondering were I would get the mounting bracket for the transducer or do I have to order a hole new tranducer for the trolling motor?

Anyone fishing these lakes and if so how are they looking. Wanting to take my wifes grandpa out this coming Wed or thur. and trying to choose from these lakes.

I use to camp on that lake with my family when I lived with my mom in Jamestown TN. Awesome lake alot of fun.

How is the best way to fish for bass when the temp outside is 100 110 and the water is about 85 to 95 degrees? FisherDave

I got a 14ft alum. boat has a 7.5 gamefisher you just half to pick it up. It already has a deck and seats a livewell has all the electric ran has a bilge pump, lights has a brand new humingbird fishfinder and a brand new 30# thrust trolling motor pritty much everything you need. I am about 4hrs away.I might even meet you halfway. Whats wrong with the motor? FisherDave

I think getting rid of the post count was a great idea I think it will cut down on alot of dumb useless post that people post just to get there count up there I also think yall should get rid of the seniority titles go by how long you have been with the site not how many post you have contributed. I think the mod after a year should look at your profile and see what kind of helpful knowledge you have spread and how much BS you have spread and if you are a good source of advise and very helpful then promote you to a junior or senior member make it mean something to have a title so when new people do come to the site they can tell who they can depend on for good advise. I am no professional I am all ears and am here to learn I dont care what kind of title I have above my name. I would just like to know whoj know s there crap and who dont. FisherDave

I got it done I never seen a pin when I pulled it. I took the lower unit to the shop so I could match up the impellers to get the right one and after I prid on it for a good 45 min. and gave up the shop guy put two screw drivers on it and pulled it right off like it was no big deal. I got it back together and am going to try it out this week end wish me luck. FisherDave

I dont know how similar the 7.5 hp is to yours but I have a 7.5 gamefisher and I had the same problems and it was my fuel lines all the way to the carb I couldnt tell it intell I changed them out but it was dry rotted and was sucking enough air to not let the gas system stay primed. FisherDave

I got an older 45 hp Mercury and I am trying to change the water pump on it how do I find out what year mod. it is and has anyone ever changed a water pump out. :-? FisherDave
