UNC beat Ohio State in basketball last night. Now, we have to go to Rupp Arena this weekend. Now normally I would pull for UK as my wife is from Lexington and they are my second favorite team. However when it comes to Carolina all bets are off. I hope Ty Lawson is good to go for Carolina. Uk needs to play better than they played Tuesday against Stony Brook, otherwise it might be over before it starts.

I agree. I hate Carolina with a passion (and their stupid blue uniforms), but Kentucky really doesn't have much of a chance against UNC Saturday. For that, we can thank Tubby Smith and his utter lack of recruiting the last few years. I hope he freezes his (basket)balls off in Minnesota.

Carolina versus UK has become a big rivalry not as big as Carloina vs. Duke, who I hate more than any other team. I was in Lexington two seasons ago when Uk had lost like three or four game early on in the season and the morning radio hosst were calling for Tubby's Hide. The same thing happened in Chapel Hill the last year that we had Matt Doherty. The problem is with UK and Carolina, you have the two winningest team in history and we are sometimes spoiled to the fact that we expect nothing less than national championships every year. I like Roy Williams but I miss the old days when we had Dean Smith, who I believe still has an office in the basement at the Smith Center. He is a atheltic advisor i.e puppet master.

I truly respect Carolina and LOVE IT that we play each year. It is a game that should be played every year. Now if we could only get those sissies in Durham to play us...

Those sissies in Durham would probably open up a can of whoop bass on you. I watched them play the other night and they looked pretty good.

Duke looked very good however they due not like to play traditional powerhouses outside of the ACC. It might ruin their nonconference win streak at that High School Gym (I mean Cameron Indoor Stadium)they play at.

Really though I can not rag Duke all that much anymore, considering I chose to have my spinal tumor removed there, when I could have went to Chapel Hill. Good lawyers but Duke has better doctors.
