The great Ike Turner: the man who wrote one of the first R&R masterpieces ROCKET 88 and leader of the groupIke and Tina Turner, passed todat at age 72. Many great musicans came from that band, most notably JIMI HENDRIX ( who also played for Little Richard and the Isley Brothers)
