Picture Cell Phones

Featured Replies

Well Being my birthday on the 28th of December I finally get a cell phone for my 15th birthday. I am not to much of a talker all I really do is just make 1 minute phone calls to tell my mom, dad, or sis to come pick me up from the lake. But what I really care for is a good picture phone so that I can actually take photos of what I catch and have proof. I have seen some of the phone pictures quality and they are horrible once they get uploaded on a computer.

So what cell phone has a good quality still in them when you upload them to a computer.

p.s. Is it hard to get a good picture of yourself and the bass by yourself using a phone?

I don't think it's all that difficult.  You just got a bad taste from Avid's picture taking ability....or should I say inability......

if your positive you wont need a cell phone then you could ask for a digital camera instead ;)

It's not the transfer that causes the problem, it's the camera.  Make sure you get one with at least a 1.5 megapixel camera.  Most have 2 megapixels these days, which is fairly good, and way better than the camera phones of even a year ago.

Ive got a LG AX35 and thats what I take 90% of my pics that I post on here with. I think it does an alright job but I got it last year so I doubt they make them anymore.

I can't suggest an exact phone. But some features to look for would be:

At least 1.5 MP

a flash for low light pictures

and a self timer

also make sure it can stand up on its own. A self timer is useless if the phone keeps falling over. A good camera phone will eliminate the need to carry a phone and camera. And I believe if you do alot of fishing alone like I do, a cell phone is a must.

LG AX/VX8600 takes very good photos.  Uses microSD cards for storage.
