Muddy, we all had a great time there meeting you and Bruce.  Definitely some fishing trips in the works for this year.

Anyhow, after all the lure buying and BSing was done, my car-full of people decided to go check out and start the long drive home. The lady at the check out counter was handing me the receipt to sign and she says, "Geez, how much stuff is that guy gonna buy?" as she is pointing behind me. I asked, "Who" and her reply was "The guy from the Sopranos over there."

Well, this got my interest and I turned around to see this tall gangly looking fellow behind me.  I thought to myself, what the &**%$#^% is this lady talking about?

Then I looked over to the next set of registers and there stood none other than Tony Soprano himself, James Gandolfini.  One of the guys that came with me is a big, big fan.  I went over and told him to look at the guy and see if he looked familiar.  He darn near froze in his tracks when he realized who it was.  We got a piece of paper and a pen from one of the registers and my buddy was too scared to ask him for an autograph.  LOL

I really wanted to leave, so I took the pen and paper and walked up to this guy.  Believe me, this is a BIG man.  I dont really have to look up to a lot of people, but I did with him.  He was very nice and signed the paper to my buddy Travis.

That is seriously the last person I would expect to see at a Cabela's with three shopping carts full of camo clothing, but there he was.

Cool end to a great day.  Thanks again to all that attended.

Tony was going to "off" somebody in a more public place and needed the camo cover!  LOL

Hey what was the list of BassResource.com guys who made the trip?

I'll have to a get together at the St Louis one with guys like farmpond1, maybe Cart7 and some others one of these days

It's amazing!  Muddy has joined an Italian gang that hangs out a Cabella's!  You guys even have your own hit man, Gandolfini.

Fellow members of Bass Resource, I suggest you take careful note of the members of "La Cabella's Cosa Nostra" and refrain from irritating them in any manner.  These guys are BAAAAAAAAAAAD.

I'm surprised you didn't hear him breathing from the other side of the store.

Especially that Basser89 guy, strong resemblance to Carlo Gambino!
