Peta all over this one???

Featured Replies

Nope they are not.

Rodeo was in town and the news clearly showed the main rodeo show guy reaching over to animals just before gate opening. You couldn't see the device but they calm animals all went nuts just after he "reached" them with his hand!

Some local animal people very tactfully voiced their opinion.

I fig'd the word would get out and PETA would be all over this one but no go.

He was whispering in the Bulls ear that the guy that was fixing to ride him talked ugly about his mama.

Me and the whole Family are big PBR fans. them Bulls got it made-best health insurance than we've got ;D

I can't comment, I've never had my privates strangled with rope.  I don't see how it can be very fun though, but at least they've been given good health insurance.. ::)

a flank strap is a strap that goes around the flank of a bull. Its purpose is to enhance the natural bucking motion of a bull and to encourage the animal to extend its hind legs when trying to get his rider on the ground. The flank strap never covers or goes around a bull's genitals, and no sharp or foreign objects are ever placed inside the flank strap to agitate the animal. Furthermore, a flank strap cannot be too tight around the bull's flank or the bull will be too uncomfortable to perform. Pulling the flank strap too tight would restrict a bull's motion, resulting in an inferior performance by the bull and quite possibly a reride for the bull rider. The flank strap is designed for quick release and is removed immediately after the bull exits the arena

LBH it only comes with practice ;D

And They still have better health insurance than us :'(

Forget the strap deal the bulls and horses immediately went nuts. He had a taser of some sort almost for certain. He has been invesigated in Pennsylvania for the same thing recently.

The whole thing is no sweat off my back but I just thought PETA would have a reason to go nuts.

PS. The whisper in the ear thing is papa bull riding mama bull and papa saying  " your sister is better in the sack" lol
