I am getting ready to fish in my first tournament, I was wonering what is some of your favorite lures and how do you fish them, right now I have pumpkin seed fat alberts, black spider gigs with red sparkle, pumpkin seed tubes with chrt skirts, and a few diff spinners, what else do you think I should get to be prepared for the tourney

where are you going to be fishing and what are the water conditions(temp, clarity, etc.)?

Welcome to the forum. Would be a good idea to list where you are fishing to get a feel for lure or bait types. Also fish your favorite style or your strengths and will probably do the best.

For me, tournament time is not the time for trying out new lures and techniques.  If the baits you listed are your confidence lures, I'd say go with them.  If you boater has success with something you are not familiar with, you could give them a try, but for me practice or fishing for fun is the time to try new stuff out.  Good luck in the tourney.
