Anybody ever watch that show.  It's on A&E channel, I actually like it.

Kinda like the meter maids version of Cops.  

It's more of a show that tells/show how city make a large portion of their budget on the miss fortune.

Houston is terrible place for parking.  The downtown area is avoided like some horrible virus unless u have to do bussiness their.

I have not seen that show but the First 48 is pretty good.

Well, New Yorkers have a solution to the old parking ticket problem: it seems that when they buy an apartment there (in the CITY), many of them ALSO have to BUY a parking spot to go along with it (if they want one) for an additional $175K+. Now that's congestion to the max, IMO!

When Rudy was mayor he had these signss put up in certain areas

I dont know about misfortune, but if you could fine people for acting like arseholes or being stupid, the Philadelphia Parking Authority would write 10X as many tickets as they do on that show.

I find it rather amusing to watch that show.  It really burns me to see people parking in the Handicapped spot, but makes me smile to see the $301 ticket they get for doing so.

I love the show. It's great to see people try to argue their way out of situations where they are obviously wrong.

all people have to do is follow the rules...I know sometimes it's hard, but by parking somewhere you aren't allowed to, you are subjecting yourself to the consequences of taking that risk.

KU_Bassmaster:  yep, gotta agree with that. When I was attending SDSU here in San Diego, the parking stickers that you had to buy were more commonly referred to as HUNTING LICENSES by the students!!
