Hey Fellas; We have all kinds of filters at work. I can not get the smilies to the left to post, only a handful will, and I can not alwys let people lknow I am kidding around with my litle green friends, anyone else ever have this problem, IT"S DRIVING ME NUTS ;D

I cant get them out of my head either.

Some could be blocked in the pop up installed at work. Try hitting the control key when selecting the smilies :)

I hate the IT guys and all the filters at my job.  No streaming media, No web based mail etc...  

Try...

Tools/internet options/connections (tab)/Lan Settings/uncheck the box next to the proxy server.  There is a very slight chance that could work.

But don't blame me if IT comes down on you hard.

One thing you can do is type a smiley with a space in between the semicolon and the parenthases. that will give you an "old school" smiley face and should not have any problems with the filters. Like this

they will still know you are joking now or jesting : )

Thanks gotta stick with the ones under the box, they just installed something called CISCO AGENT, gvt.computers :-/
